- About Me
- I work full time for a local newscast. I live in Seattle and have feeders at my condo. I get a few different visitors. In the past year I've had chickadees, pine siskens, black-eyed juncos, purple finches, house sparrows, song sparrows and a white crowned sparrow. I even had a Coopers hawk on my patio, but he hasn't been back since I shooed him away. He was very beautiful, but I didn't want him feasting on my smaller friends!
My parents live outside of the city on a river and get a huge variety of birds. I love to go up there in the summer to watch all of them. She has a pilliated woodpecker, downy woodpeckers, hairy woodpeckers, gold finches, wax wings, eagles, red-breasted sap suckers, and many more.
- My favorite type of birds:
- Chickadees, finches, and ducks.
