Wow!! your photos are GREAT!!!!! What kind of camera/zoom do you use? Your Flicker photos make a great resource to check ID's against. Your shots are more clear and natural than what I usually see in books.

Thanks for looking at my photos. I sent you a pic of a Hawk I took the other day. I don't know which one it is and am hoping you can help me narrow it down. I am soooo happy to be a part of this site and have other enthusiasts to talk to about birds. My co-workers aren't all that interested - haha!

Hi Bill, was hoping you could help me confirm what I think I'm seeing in the attached photo. Last week I was in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and walking along the river walk they have built beside the Mississippi River and was snapping photos of anything that flew (LOL) Later on, I cropped the photos to see what I had . . . and if I'm not mistaking, I think I got a photo of two Bald Eagles flying up from the side of the river. I looked at my field guide and it does say that B. Eagles can be found along the Mississippi River during the winter and B. Eagles are listed on my Louisiana Bird list, sooooo . . . can it be? Lisa
